Address change

In case noone noticed, my address has changed. It's official now. The final signature was made and I have the keys to the house. It'll be nice to recieve a cover at my first home I've OWNED that I can post. Even US would be cool. If anyones mailed something recently, don't fret. It'll be forwarded for quite awhile.

Island

Like many countries, I can't figure out why we spell Iceland when the country spells it Island on their postage.
Iceland seems to be one of the popular countries to collect. Probably why they demand a higher price from dealers. Economics101. This is catalogued rather cheaply at $0.45
Stretching out another night on this without disconnection till next week.

Oh Canada!!!

A dollar was a chunk of change back then. That's why you don't see a lot of them in bulk mixtures. Hard to find by accident. I'm hoping they don't shut me off till saturday, maybe today. I probly won't be able to set up till Monday and even get on by Tuesday.
Just remember... always place your stamp tongs in the same place, or they will disapear.

Communication Breakdown

Well tonight is a tribute to communication, or lack thereof it. Sometime in the next 48 hours my landline goes down and I won't be up until late Sunday or early next week at the latest. Moving into a new house is a major undertaking. Now if I was wireless, I'd be up sooner. We can commmunicate with a mars lander(below), but I'm shut down solid when I move 5 city blocks. I'll be back and posting my new address when I get there.

Brasil

Chaulk one more off on my quest for worldwide covers. Thank you Pedro, I'll be mailing off a Cahokia card. I'll use the Lewis and Clark stamps. Very fitting as they set up first camp just a few miles away from this site.
As soon as I make it out to the tourist center, I'll be mailing you another card(I need to up my Cahokia Mound Post Card stock!).
I had problems logging on yesterday, and that's why I missed a posting. I got so used to the page remembering me, that when it didn't, I forgot my username and password. What a bother.
