Firecrest, we don't have these in the US, I think it's a bird that is found in England, I'm not sure if anywhere else.

I've got a cover from Egypt but (hint hint) I don't have one addressed to me. Another country that's on my collection list of must gets.

There is so much archeology in Egypt that it astounds me. Quite the history story.

Nevis

The battle of Frigate Bay and a map of Nevis FDC. Sweet!!

Nevis is in the West Indies, south and east of Puerto Rico. This looks like a pretty good battle, I'm going to have to check out more about it.

Washington 2006

These are awesome. I think I read where they used the original plates to create these stamps. High value in 1920-25. Today they still seem expensive. 8 bucks for 3 stamps. Ripoff!!!! Plus I bought 2 sets!!!
