Royal Air Forces Association
Hello, my name is JimmyB
I don't collect planes but I still think this fdc and set of stamps is pretty cool. If planes are your thing, be the first to email me and I'll mail this cover to you.
I'm listening to Johnny Cash With His Hot and Blue Guitar. It's something else.
Check out http://groups.msn.com/AllNationsStampClub good group of people to trade with. I haven't exchanged much lately in the group but I've never had any problems in the past with anyone in there, which says much to other groups I've been in.

Captain Cook
Another Cook stamp? You bet!! If you think someones gotta be nuts to get into a rocket ship and go into space. You really gotta be nuts to go blindly into the ocean as far as he did without turning back. He was certain that there was a large landmass below the equater that balanced the earth.

Australian Antarctic Territory
Ever have problems doing something online? I did tonight. My images aren't up;oading. I'm sure in the morning It'll be letting me upload them. Scott L21 and 22. Nice set for the AAT collectors. Sorry I don't have them up yet. Next time you get online I'll probably have them up.
I've fially found all my Scott's catalogues tonight. I was missing volumes 2 and 3 for the past couple weeks and feeling it. I'm always looking stuff up it seems and it also seemed like everything I wanted to look up lately was in those two volumes.
Is anyone going to Washington for the stamp show this summer? I need to find someone who can make it and pick up a few of the souvenier sheets being released. Among them the US-Canada sheet with the lick-em stamps. I'll be posting the AAT set a little later, sorry, it's out of my hands right now.
Next day......the images have uploaded this am. Captain Cook and his ship the Resolution. It's a good read about his journeys, particularly if you get the correct author. I have to say he had it coming to him in Hawaii, where the people at first thought he was a God coming from across the ocean.

Liberia
Another Liberia FDC like I posted last week. This is what you would call large stamps. A far cry from the detailed centenary stamp. I imagine these are ceremonial masks and headwear. It's odd how masks seem to be a common theme among civilizations all around the world at different times. The two on the right remind me of images on totem poles that you see in the northern half of North America.
