Malta

I've got no clue how to layout my daily blog anymore. Pictures don't seem to lay themselves out like I try to make them.

Malta conjures many images in my head and their stamps are very interesting. Here we go with some overprints, another item that makes this cover catch my eye.

US Joint with Canada

Champlain Surveys the East Coast. Nice set, I'm gonna have to look for the joint sheet with Canada.

It's time for me to send some mail with all these US stamps I've gotten the past couple months..

FDC's

I got an email from Eric, a collector today, and went to his blog. http://my-philately.blogspot.com/ Check it out. He looks like an easy guy to exchange covers with if you can get your hands on a frog stamp!!!

He suggests, only older fdc's are higher value. I'd say he's right. There are a few cachet designers that can still fetch a better price then others though!!!

He likes postally used. I agree on that also. Would you rather get a ball signed that you got in the stands at a game, or one you purchased and asked to be signed?

Cacheted covers (1923 they begin) start at just under $1000 in value and drop to the $20-$50 US range until 1940.

Oh do I hate Bush!!!

Is the man an idiot or what? I'll be flaming about him soon no doubt at http://arealfreeamerica.blogspot.com/ my spot to bitch politics.

You people need a break from me on that topic.

Cost Rica Fruit Loops

A friend went on a vacation and was kind to mail me this post card. Cool looking frog.

Blogger was having problems the last couple days. I missed yesterday not due to the beast, but rather thru technical difficulties.

Ouch to the price of gas today!!!!

American Diplomats

A M/S with 6 diplomats who probably spoke with their own thoughts and beliefs, unlike current diplomats who are mere puppets of the evil Bush empire.

I'm not sure how this image is going to post. My edit page is doing odd things today.

Is anyone nervous about tomorrows date?

Belize

Another FDC commemorating the US Bicentennial.

Lindburgh's flight though? What the hell does he have to do with the bicentennial?

I might add, he's got a lot to do with the St Louis arch area. The arch was pictured a few days ago in the stamp, tallest memorial. Lindburgh flew the plane named "Spirit of St Louis" when he crossed the Atlantic.
