Choo Choo

I wonder if there are any more in this transportation set. I also wonder what the rate is compared to the postage. I've written back, but used three .37 stamps which is a bit more then the rate. My apologies to the purists.

Prince Charles III

#1's are always cool, here's Monaco #1 CV $18.00 mint. This ones not near worth that, but good enough for me right now. I'm trying to collect on some type of budget here.

Black Jack

Here I've been wanting one of these for years. #73 not a bad find for $6.50. Centering and missing perfs aside.

One of the benefits of joining the APS, not to mention they have WW and a monthly magazine.
Our club gets sales books from them.

If you do by chance want to join be sure to write JimmyB #205731 referred you. I think I'll get discount on my membership next year or something good.

Canal

A ship in the Corinth Canal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corinth_Canal

It looks like some heavy duty digging went on to cut this out.

Corners

1951 sheet corners, I don't care for the 1/2 cent(photo), but the other engravatures are nice.

Georgios

Don't let the low denomination of this stamp fool you about the strength of this ship. Interesting history and now a museum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_cruiser_Georgios_Averof
released on Fool's Day, 1927

Flags

The torch of freedom along with the flags of America. Also a "Victory". Issued in 1942 I'm curious about the V.

As is usual, I have an incomplete set of 5, I'm missing 219 and 222 of 209-223

American Bank Note Co. printed these at perf 12.
