To say I'm disaponted in this issue is both true and false. I'm excited they issued a commorative stamp(as did many nations), but by the same token, I don't like the artwork. He should have been engraved as he was in the early classic US stamps, not this artsy fartsy New England style painting. This set reminds me of some of the crappy artistic stamps during the Bicentenial 1776-1976 blitz. I'm sorry to all you block number collectors out there for the 1111, hey give me a break, it just came out.JimmyB
