Yersel Mixture

Having spent $20 for a worldwide mixture in an advertisement in Linn's magazine for a promise of $225 worth of stamps(catalogue value) with stamps valued at 50 cents and up I am glad to say that I am completely satisfied.
I received the letter after waiting 9 days, I mailed cash and would imagine the wait would be longer if paying by check.
I haven't bought a mixture in several years and was surprised at the number of more recent stamps in the mix. Their were 182 stamps in total of which I would say only a dozen or so were from the era prior to 1950 and I found only 1 duplicate in the entire lot of them. The vast majority were commemorative s dated in the 90's and 00's. I found a couple which perhaps may have slipped thru that were valued at the minimum 20 cent, but I've no problem with that. I'm amazed anyone can riff thru tons of stamps and deliver as many non minimum value ones as this on as large a scale as Yersel does.
Germany, and France were well represented. Several Isle of Man's were in the mix as well as Denmark,Norway,Slovenia, Malta, Lithuania, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. A few of the older stamps were British colonies. Barbados and Bahamas.
I discovered quickly my Scott's catalogues are getting old(2003 and 2004 editions) and often had to check the values of the stamps using the Stampworld.com pricing which is a tad higher than Scott's, not to mention priced in Euros which requires a little rough guessing in the head to convert, but several of the stamps I've looked at so far have been valued in the 2-3 dollar range.
I'm certain to be posting many of what I find on this blog in the coming month as I find the time to look them up, but here are a few examples to give a taste of what I got.

2007 Smiles
A complete set!!
Don't be fooled by my lack of imagery skills, they are all the same size stamps.

2006 Merry Christmas Happy New Year (Another complete set!)

1999 Museum Exhibits

2004 National Heritage

I'm not certain how long Yersel will run this offer, but his address is

P.O.Box 342
West Boylston,MA
01583

I'd imagine overseas orders would probably need to add an extra buck or two, but I really don't know.
