Australia

I think MD of cdd down under refered to this set just recently. When I saw it today at Belleville's annual event, I had to grab it.

It was nice seeing the members of the club. I haven't been able to attend a meeting since last January due to my work schedule.

Don't forget, clicking on the image sometimes makes it larger.

If you have a hard time loading, all I can say is.......broadband can be gotten cheap!!!! UPGRADE!!!!

St Clair Philatelist

Times have changed. I believe this St Clair Co. Society is defunct. Probably because reminders like this one for meetings were sent late or at the last minute!!!

Cardinals

They took the division, now it's San Diego!!!

Not to Sound like Michael Dodd going on about Football as I think he calls it...it's soccer in the US.

For those not familiar, this is the baseball team in St Louis who practice in the spring in Florida. March 7th is about a month before the regular season starts.

They finished 2nd in the National League in 1941, hopefully they'll beat the Padres and go on to at least match 1941's record. They won tonight 5-1

Garuda over Bangkok

This is one form of deity that I'd be hiding from. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garuda

Happiness is the key here, because I have an actual full set of something for a change.

Issued 1952, this is the last air post stamp issued in my Scott's.

I visited the IPDA chatroom this past weekend, kinda sorta. I hope to hear from some of the people I bumped across there.

Though you don't see it often, my main quest IS getting a cover/postcard from every country. Please don't assume I've got one from where you live. Unless of course you live in the US, Canada, France, Australia, Palestine(though I always want more), Isreal, India, China, Chile, Argentina, Phillippines, Guyana, Slovenia, Nederlands, Costa Rica and now I'll pause and have to think some. That's a short list of what I've got that I'll buckle down and add to.

Spain

I looked this up this am. #314. This is a minimum value stamp. 1920 issue date.

Plain Jane looking!! Blue green ink and no perforations.

Stamps issued by Spain prior to this were quite detailed. See below issued till only 1899.

It makes me wonder why they went on the cheap in designing this gem?
