I've heard of these before, but never seen one until this weekend at the USPS stand at the stamps show.

Nice looking item I think. Are these all identicle no matter which country you buy them in? I wonder?

The law passed in 1894 to tax playing cards in the U.S. and continued in some form until 1965.

Playing card tax stamps are called "RF's"
