Liberia Centenary FDC

Speaking of Nations anniversaries, here's a centenary commemoration of Liberia.
I don't mean to rag, but why are FDC's always cancelled so dang heavy? If you buy a USPS FDC today at the US Post Office they always seem to try to oblitate the stamp. This is a shame here, because it really is a beautiful stamp.
Thanks for asking Moo. I started looking tonight. I've got so many piles I'm being vexed. Your gonna have to come out and visit awhile and help me find them I think. Easy task. I'll keep looking in the meantime.
Who thinks this Congress woman from Atlanta should be commended for striking the security guard who was watching out for everyones safety? 535 Congressman? I'd be guilty.
I was a security guard 2 years ago at a Cardinals game(St Louis) on opening day. At the gate I asked for a man's ID and the crowd started heckling me. It was the 3rd base coach. Martinez I think(still don't really know who it is). Anyways, he just laughed and showed me his ID, he understood I was only doing my job. It was embarrasing though.
What's baseball got to do with stamps? I think the US Post is coming out with some baseball stamps this year.
OK,Michael Dodd(CDD Stamps link on side of page) Is amazingly keeping his blog alive from the other side of the world. To think that it took Magellan years to circle the globe and barely 20 men survived out of hundreds, Magellan included. It's an amazing leap mankind has taken. We even drive remote control cars on Mars. I wish Radio Shack sold those.
