Personalized stamps

According to the USPS, these are metered stamps and not postage stamps.

I was ruined not being able to go to Jenny's wedding. Getting this personalized stamp has really made up for my not having been able to go.

It's a shame the post office ruins stamps with visible cancellations. Can't they come up with a phospher tag cancellation? At least just where the stamps are usually placed?

I asked Jen if she has any mint ones I could have. She's probably getting ready for a move overseas. I really need to hook up with her on getting covers from wherever she goes.

Hi Jen, hi Stephen.

I recieved this cover from M.D.. Check my links...Cddstamps. He's always got stamp contests with prizes and such going on.

Thanks Doc!!

Much is to be found on simple covers. This here is a nice example of a metered stamp. Transportation series.

Special anniversary cancelation. My Spanish is poor, something about the Virgin Mary. Comments are more then welcome with greater info.

Reason against personalized stamps

Heres a good reason why personalized stamps should not be allowed.

This guy got a picture thru the censors who watch for bad stuff coming in for stamp requests. This is a high school picture of "the unabomber" Ted Kaczynski.

Why allow even a chance for stuff like this to get on postage stamps. I grabbed this image off the internet and that is why I don't have my usual black border around the white envelope. I think I make my point come across anyways though.
