Nelson's body was stored in a barrel of brandy for the trip home from his victorious battle as depicted on this 38 pence Gibraltar 200th anniversary stamp.

Gibralter

Angel is prolific with covers. Thank you Angel. Another link of my quest for a cover from every country. I get mail from the Gibraltar stamp retailer, but such mail doesn't qualify as a true cover in my collection.
The date on the cancel perplexes me. I received this today, 10/23. So I assume the 10 is Oct, but the X?JimmyB

Gibralter and the Queen

Tonight I read in an msn group, that the chatroom was disapearing. I also read that ipda.org has a chatroom. This I've been hearing about for quite some time.
I went in to check it out and actually found someone in the chatroom.
A 64 year old guy that is into QEII. We discussed her beauty and I find tonights FDC fitting!!!

Gibralter

No, beggars CAN'T be choosers. That's why I have this Gibralter postal card. I't been hanging pinned up somewhere and you can even see how the light has faded the card by the way whatever was posted over it protected it from fading.
The art of handsome penmanship is quickly disapearing. I admire the fancy strokes of the writers hands during this era.
